Decolan joins the BLFA
The company is now a proud member of the British Laminate Fabricators Association
Chiasso (CH), December 15th 2016 – Decolan, the Swiss based leading supplier with more than 20 years of experience in the decorative design industry, proudly announced that it has become a member of the British Laminate Fabricators Association (BLFA).
The association has been established more than 50 years ago and today it is the only recognized trade association representing the laminate fabrication industry in the UK and promoting best working practices among specifiers and fabricators.
The British Laminate Fabricators Association promotes the highest standards of decorative laminate fabrication in the UK. Designers, architects, building contractors and end users can all benefit from using products made by a BLFA approved fabricator or laminate manufacturer: membership of the BLFA is strictly limited to companies who comply with the Code and accreditation is only gained following an audit of a company’s manufacturing skills, systems and equipment.
Being a BLFA approved Laminate Manufacturer confirms Decolan’s commitment in giving its clients a 100% peace of mind, knowing that the services and products provided by this company are underpinned by a reliable benchmark of quality.
As Giovanni Iurza, Decolan’s CEO, stated: “Decolan is committed to working to the methods and standards listed in the BLFA Code of Practice, which covers all aspects of the use of decorative laminates. This code, created by industry experts, is a comprehensive technical manual regarded as the industry benchmark and we are really proud to join this well-known association to further prove how our commitment towards quality and customer satisfaction is concrete”.
About the BLFA
The British Laminate Fabricator’s Association is the only recognized trade association representing the laminate fabrication industry in the UK and promoting best working practice among specifiers and fabricators. Its members specialize in the fabrication of laminated components including cubicle systems and vanity units, flat bonded panels, shelving, furniture components and doors. The BLFA is a national association and it supplies to a range of market sectors from construction, furniture, shop-fitting and transport.
Over the years the BLFA has developed its remit to respond to the dynamics of a changing industry – taking account of new product developments, fabrication techniques and market changes. But it remains true to its core principle: the promotion and understanding of quality laminate fabrication.
From washroom cubicles to wall paneling, from worktops to bonded panels and from doors to retail counters, all products are supplied to the highest standards of laminate fabrication as stated in BS4965, the British Standard for veneered boards and panels.
